Kapwa Gardens Lives On — In More Ways Than One
As we prepare to close Kapwa Gardens on Saturday, July 26, we want to take a moment not just to reflect on the past, but to share the exciting and heartfelt future that lies ahead.
Kapwa Gardens is a healing space for the community.
A Kultivate Labs project designed to help our neighborhood recover from the devastating mental, physical, and economic effects of COVID-19.
A Hidden Oasis
Filled with swaying bamboo, trees, living walls, and plants native to the San Bruno Mountains—Kapwa Gardens is secret hideaway in the urban jungle.
A Space To Stretch
Our Garden also includes an expansive techno-color gathering space. Perfect for afternoon yoga, live performances, private events, and socially distanced get togethers.
Creating Economic Vitality
As we begin to emerge from Shelter-In-Place, we provide opportunities for our creative entrepreneurs to jump-start economic activity and create new jobs.
Upcoming Events

We have volunteer opportunities to build furniture, paint murals, and tend to the garden.
