Marxoxo is a trans filipina pop artist from the East Bay. Her writing pulls inspiration from personal drama, dreams, and diaries, snuggling lightly between the hyperpop of Charli XCX and the attitude of early Britney Spears. But more than that, it’s a juxtaposition of identities, reconciling growing up in a humble hick town with proudly growing into herself. She’s burst into 2022 with her latest EP ‘ID:Me’, an ode to self as she stakes claim of who she is and isn’t over 4 infectious tracks, honing in on topics that are relatable to anyone else who is struggling with self identity and questioning themselves fully.
Tsunomi Punoni
Tsunomi Punoni is a non-binary filipnx drag queen who was born and raised in the Bay Area. Her aesthetic and style pull inspiration from 90s R&B, hip hop, rap, and alternative music icons. Growing up in the bay for her was always listening to music that made her dance and get hyphy so that’s exactly what to expect when she performs. She showcases her talent to inspire others who feel out of place or struggle with self-identity that you are enough and you can become whatever you set your mind to.
