Get ready to celebrate with us and commemorate the Compton Cafeteria Riots of 1966 with your cowboy hat and boots at Kapwa Gardens on Sat Aug 24, 2024.

Join us for a wild time filled with music by DJ Dreams, dancing, rodeo games, and good vibes. This ain't our first rodeo, so you know we're going to bring the heat. There will be free food available for attendees, beverages for purchase(alcoholic and non-alcoholic), merch, live performances from local entertainers, and a special guest drag performance from Houstons' own 2024 entertainer of the year, Miss Queen Chevelle Brooks!
